This season is one for the record books and it’s not over yet. Making it to the second Final Four in school history is a goal we had in the beginning at the season, but winning the National Championship is the ultimate goal. The season has flown by and looking back it’s been such a pleasure playing along side this group of guys. It feels like yesterday that we were getting up for 6 am junkyard work outs and conditioning. We’ve worked extremely hard to get to this point, and only one game separates us from becoming champs.
Much of our success this year has come from the unity we have built on the court during workouts and practice, but more importantly from the time we have spent growing in our faith. During the national tournament it’s awesome to see how focused in the team is on growing closer with the Lord and playing to glorify Him. With one last game of this memorable year our plan is to play in the freedom that God has given us and glorify him through the way we play. – Nate Bubash
