For the 10th time coach Greg Tonagel will lead his Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats to the NAIA National Championship Tournament. A trip that was for so long only a dream has become an annual tradition of sorts. Prior to his arrival twelve years ago, IWU had never qualified and advanced to Branson/Pt. Lookout, MO.
Winning is the new tradition now. Two of the last three years the Wildcats have returned home with the ultimate prize…A National Championship Trophy.
This morning the bus arrived at Luckey Arena. The team gathered and loaded up to once again make the trek south. (Our WIWU crew will be close in tow the entire way.). As fans, let’s not take these opprtunities for granted however. The kind of success we have been treated to does not come cheap or easy. It is the result of a dedicated commitment to excellence by a special group of people.
At WIWU TV we are excited to go along for the ride for as long as it lasts. All the best to Wildcats as they fearlessly pursue the dream.
